*Responsibilities*
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide chairside assistance in various dental specialties.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirming patient visits, and handling administrative tasks as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and reception areas.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Proficiency in using dental systems for record keeping and scheduling.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Experience with X-Ray technology is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
