Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant at Prescott Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, you will play a vital role in providing world-class patient experiences and supporting our dentists in delivering top-notch care. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, assisting during surgeries, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during periodontal and implant procedures
- Prepare examination rooms and dental instruments
- Provide patient care and comfort during treatment
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
- Record patient information and treatment plans
- Support the front office with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand procedures and post-care instructions
- Assist in taking dental x-rays and impressions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant certification required or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a dental office, preferably in periodontics or implant dentistry
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, with a caring and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
