Job Description

Our dental practice is seeking an exceptional, hard working, compassionate Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

We are a family oriented, two doctor, general dentistry practice in Westchester (near LAX).

The successful candidate should be detail oriented with good communication and organizational skills. They should be able to interact professionally with staff and patients.

We currently work one Saturday (half-day) per month

Responsibilities

• Be warm and compassionate to our patients; we are looking for a patient-oriented individual
• Four handed dentistry; assist with all phases of general dentistry
• Take vital signs; should be CPR certified
• Sterilization and dental supply management
• Use of Carestream (Softdent) Dental Software (will train on use)
• Take digital radiographs
• Take alginate impressions
• Fabricate provisional restorations
• Should have taken California Law, HIPAA, and OSHA training classes
• Be willing to cross train with the front office
