Job Description
PPO/HMO/FFS dental office in port saint lucie, FL is seeking an Insurance and Billing Coordinator/Front Desk. ONLY candidates with experience will be considered.
Position is for approx 35-40 hours a week
Responsibilities
Insurance billing- (Must verify insurances and have a detailed understanding of all dental plans),
Sending electronic dental insurance claims, pre authorizations, posting dental insurance payments and making the necessary adjustments/write -offs, balancing patient accounts accurately., calling and follow up with dental insurance and patients regarding balances, keeping track of A/R and insurance pending accounts, closing out the days accounts and preparing deposit slips
managing monthly reports to keep track of A/R and collection goals,
Effective at treatment plan presentations and patient scheduling. Excellent customer service.
Effective problem resolution skills. Reliable, punctual, confident, team player and a true professional.
Must be Bilingual and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Previous experience in dental front desk and insurance processing is a must
Friendly, warm personality, strong organizational skills, and someone who is willing to go the extra mile and grow with the company.
