Job Description
Oasis Dental Team is seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists in providing high-quality patient care and assist with various clinical tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient dental practice.
Key Responibilities:
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms for patients, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage patient records and maintaining accurate documentation.
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in compliance with industry standards.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining office organization.
Provide excellent customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology (iTero scanners, CBCTs, etc.) introduced.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting preferred.
Previous experience in a dental office setting
Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and radiography
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Proficient in using dental software and technology

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
