Highlights of Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
Clean and set up treatment rooms
Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
Order and organize dental supplies
Helping at the front desk when needed scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, answering phone calls, loading chart information from referring practices, etc.
This is a part-time Dental Assistant position with a total of approximately 20 - 24 hours per week.

Dental Assistant Qualifications:
Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification from an accredited Florida program
Radiology certification FL
One or more years dental assisting experience preferably with some endodontics experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
Reliability and punctuality
