Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic high-tech dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols throughout all procedures.- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.- Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required.- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice.- Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques.- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and technologies in dentistry.- Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
