Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices.

Duties
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Conduct patient assessments and charting
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control

Requirements

- Certification or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in pediatric dental care is a plus
- Proficiency in periodontal cases is a plus
- Familiarity with patient assessment, vital signs, and anatomy
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
