Job OverviewAs a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting dental care delivery and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your assistance will be vital in various dental procedures and administrative tasks within the dental office.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists during procedures- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ordering supplies- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Take vital signs, record patient information, and create chart notes accurately- Support dentists with four-handed dentistry techniques- Operate 3D scanners for accurate dental impressions to use with in-house crown mill
Skills- Proficiency in general and periodontal dentistry practices- Experience as a dental receptionist and using Dentrix is beneficial- Knowledge of infection control procedures in a dental setting- -Knowlege of Ortho and Invisalign concepts- Familiarity with dental systems and equipment used in general dentistry- Understanding of dental terminology relevant to dental procedures- Competence in radiographic imaging techniques used in dentistry- Skill in four-handed dentistry to assist efficiently during procedures- Experience operating 3D scanners for precise dental impressions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 ââ¬â 40 per week
