Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide support to both the dentist and patients.
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records
ExperienceRequired Skills:- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control- Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software- Familiarity with assisting in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistryNice-to-Have Skills:- Previous experience in pediatric dentistry- Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques
