Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the dentist and help deliver excellent patient care.
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Take and record patients' vital signs- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Take X-rays of patients' teeth as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems Dentrix Ascend- Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocolsRequirements- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program- Proficiency in taking vital signs and X-rays- Familiarity with infection control protocols and systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
