Job Description

Our general dental practice is seeking a full time dental assistant who is a self starter, highly motivated, and willing to care for any age dental patient. The dental assistant has an integral role in patient care, including setting up and cleaning treatment rooms; escorting patients to the treatment rooms and making them feel comfortable; taking impressions and pouring models and assisting the dentist with clinical treatment.
Other required duties include:
Taking dental x-rays.
Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines.
Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies.
Various office tasks as directed by the dentist or office manager.
Education and Experience requirements:
Indiana X-ray certification.
Prophy and Flouride application certified.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compliance training with OSHA and HIPPA.
Computer skills.
1 year dental assisting experience.
Graduate of accredited dental assisting program preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
