Job Description

Our office is looking for a friendly and dependable Dental Assistant to join our General Family Dental Team. We are offering part-time, up to full-time hours.
We highly value our patients, their time and comfort experience during treatment. As a general family dental practice, our day is filled with variety. From crowns, root canals and cosmetic cases to implants, cavities, and dentures; we serve multi-generational families and love it!
Wage is negotiable and based on experience.
Required Qualifications:
- One year work experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, terminology, and record-keeping.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix is a plus but not necessary).
Preferred, but not required:
- Bilingual abilities.
- Experience with specific dental software.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including setting up and sterilizing instruments.
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
- Provide patient care and education on dental hygiene.
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 – 40 per week
