Job Description

Qualified candidates must have education/training as a Dental Assistant I as specified by the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners. Candidates must possess training and certification to take dental X-rays and must have taken courses in infection control such as the SPICE curriculum (Statewide Program forInfection Control & Epidemiology).
We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters with excellent communication skills. We desire dedicated team players who are looking for a successful long-term career. Duties include cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas after treatment, ordering supplies, stocking treatment areas, and processing and storing instruments, taking dental X-rays, and data gathering/interviewing emergency dental patients. Our office practices Comprehensive Dentistry, general dentistry procedures, as well as endodontics, and oral surgery, including I.V. sedation dentistry.
Advancement opportunities exist for excellent candidates who are interested in becoming a chairside dental assistant (Dental Assistant II), with on-the-job-training available.
