Job Description
Our dental office is looking for a qualified full-time dental assistant to grow with our family owned practice. We would also like our dental assistant to be flexible in helping our front reception.
Looking for someone who has flexible hours Monday, Tuesday ,Wednesday, Thursday .
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare treatment area for patient by following procedures and protocols
Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patient
Assist the doctor in all general dental procedures
Perform dental infection control procedures
Take EXCELLENT x-rays
Perform all lab related procedures
Hand off patient at check -out
Schedule follow up appointments
Answer phones as back up
Help with common office duties (i.e. filing, checking mail, scheduling appointments, answering phones, etc...)
Follow-up with patients after major procedures
Maintain strict compliance with all pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc. . .)
Maintain safe and clean working environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a current and active Dental Assistant License & Certificates and current CPR
Able to work well with others
Be able to work with patients of all ages, including children
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Clean, neat professional appearance
Must be punctual and available during all working business hours
Must have your own reliable transportation
Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $21.90 - $23.00 per hour
