Job Summary:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Our South Boston Community Health Center is seeking enthusiastic Dental Assistants to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our Dentists by preparing treatment rooms, managing dental supplies, assisting with patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
Looking for full time (40 hours) and part time (30 hours)
Key Responsibilities:

Assist Dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms, including sterilization and organization of instruments.
Manage inventory and ensure that all necessary dental supplies are available.
Prep patient charts and maintain accurate records.
Support front desk operations as needed, including patient scheduling and reception duties.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment with a focus on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Dental Assistant License (or an active out-of-state license with the ability to convert).
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with patients and colleagues in a kind and attentive manner.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Compliance with health and safety protocols, including COVID and flu vaccinations.
