We are a fast-paced state of the art dental practice in cooper city.
We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with previous experience to help us create beautiful and healthy smiles and be a part of providing our patients with high-quality dental care.
Essential Functions for Registered Dental Hygienist is:

Assess the dental condition and needs of the patient; use patient screening procedures to include history review, dental charting, and perio charting; take patient vital signs, as required.
Use established dental hygienist procedures; perform routine treatment procedures such as cleanings, deep cleanings, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride and procedures
Local anesthesia certification is a must.
Document dental history and chief complaint; record and report pertinent observations; ensure follow up on results.
Remove soft and hard deposits and extrinsic stains from teeth.
Educate patients on overall health care.
Makes recommendations as to the patient’s re-care interval and follow-up as needed.

General Duties for a Registered Dental Hygienist

Complete all duties and tasks efficiently and effectively.
Strict adherence to all OSHA, State, and Federal rules and regulations
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned and allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
Assist the dentist in providing dental care and treatment.

Knowledge and Experience needed by a Registered Dental Hygienist

Ability to navigate and enter data into Open dental software.
Ability to work with patients from a wide diversity of social and ethnic backgrounds.
Knowledge of dental terminology, symbols, phrases, and abbreviations.
Knowledge of iTero scanner is preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized.

Education, Certification Training and License needed for Registered Dental Hygienist

Dental hygienists must be licensed and in good standing with the State of Florida.
Anesthesia Certified – (Required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $33-40 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 Hours a week. (Varies week to week). Possibility of full time in the future.
