Job Description
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment for patients.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, new patient exams, implant crowns, Clear Aligners, Sleep appliances, emergencies.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the management of patient appointments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks as needed.
- Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
- Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
- Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and record management.
*Skills*
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with various dental specialties including same day crowns, implant crowns, occusal guards, laser fillings, clear aligners All- on -X, and much more!
- Experience in dental assisting with a solid understanding of anatomy related to dentistry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus, enhancing overall clinic efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
