Job Description
Marion Dental Group was established in 1978. We are growing and looking to add to our team. We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who will help make the office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and ensure patient comfort in the dental operatory.
Prepare patients and assist dentists during treatments.
Sterilize instruments and set up equipment per health regulations.
Perform lab tasks as directed with precision.
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
Maintain a pristine and well-equipped dental environment.
Adhere to office protocols for seamless daily operations.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in dental assisting, prioritizing patient care.
Proficiency with dental instruments and sterilization techniques.
Knowledge of health and safety standards in a dental setting.
Ability to perform duties like coronal polishing (certification a plus).
Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental software.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
High school diploma; completion of dental assistant school preferred.
Additional certifications (e.g., EFDA, X-Ray) are advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 ââ¬â 42 per week
