Position: Full-Time Dental HygienistLocation: Dental Care of Elkton, Elkton, MDSchedule: Monday-Wednesday 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM

We are looking for a detail-oriented, efficient, and positive Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team at Dental Care of Elkton. Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing, while adhering to current clinical guidelines.
Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental wellness.
Place Arestin as needed for the treatment of periodontal conditions.
Apply Oraqix for local anesthesia during procedures (experience preferred but training available).
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, updating treatment plans and progress using Dentrix or other dental software (experience with Dentrix, Kodak, Imaging Bridge, and iTero is a plus but not required).
Work closely with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
Participate in team meetings and share ideas to continuously improve office processes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Active Dental Hygiene license in Maryland.
Strong attention to detail, with an efficient and proactive work ethic.
Comfortable with or willing to learn Arestin placement and Oraqix application.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to the growth and success of the office.
Experience with Dentrix, Kodak, Imaging Bridge, and iTero is a plus but not required.
