Job Summary:As a Dental Assistant at Align Dental Care, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, fillings, extractions, and more
Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
Take and develop dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, postoperative care, and dental procedures
Manage inventory of dental supplies and restock as needed
Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a positive and calm environment
Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and preparing molds
Qualifications:
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)
State-specific Dental Assistant certification and X-ray license (required)
Experience in dental assisting is a plus, but we welcome new graduates!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Familiarity with dental software and technology is a plus
