Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Take X-rays or dental impressions- Perform various office tasks as necessary
Skills- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of infection control protocols- Familiarity with dental terminology and coding- Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
