We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
*Responsibilities*
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
- Take X-rays using 3D scanners as needed.
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean treatment area to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in using dental software (Eaglesoft preferred) for managing patient records.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Ability to take X-rays accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
