Job Description

The dental team is currently seeking a Treatment Plan Coordinator who will be responsible for conducting patient financial consultations and supporting the dentist and the team in delivering high-quality patient care.

The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office by providing exceptional customer service to patients. This is a Full-Time opportunity with patient care hours as follows:Monday to Thursday 8:45-5, Friday 8:30-1 and One Saturday 9-1 per month.
Qualifications

2 years as a Front desk or Treatment plan coordinator.
Opendental experience, or similar software
Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities

Conduct patient interviews to understand the patient's oral health histories, concerns, and objectives; explain treatment plans to patients; address patient concerns and answer patient questions; assist patients in treatment priorities; and establish plans for scheduling and payments.
Conduct financial consultations with new and existing patients when new treatment plans are presented; understand the practice policies on working with dental benefit plans; and educate patients on available dental benefits.
Answer incoming calls (new patient calls, emergency calls, appointment scheduling requests, records requests, patient follow ups)
Manage patient records, including filing, scanning, and updating information
