Job Title: Front Office & Treatment Coordinator
Location: Burbank, CA
Job Type: Full-Time-- Monday- Thursday 8AM-5PM (Some Fridays as needed)
Salary: $25-30 per hour, based on experience
Job Summary:
MT Dental Care is looking for a friendly and organized individual to take on the dual role of Front Office & Treatment Coordinator. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, is detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of dental procedures and office management. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk in, while also coordinating treatment plans and financial arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:

Front Office Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a warm and professional atmosphere.
- Manage the reception area, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and documentation in Open Dental as well as Vyne.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office, ensuring all necessary materials and forms are available.

Treatment Coordination:
- Serve as the primary contact for patients regarding treatment plans, explaining procedures, benefits, and associated costs.
- Prepare and present detailed treatment plans.
- Discuss financial arrangements, including insurance coverage, payment options, and financing plans.
- Follow up with patients to answer any additional questions and encourage treatment acceptance.

Patient Communication & Support:
- Assist patients with scheduling and coordinating multiple appointments.
- Provide information on post-treatment care and follow-up procedures.
- Handle patient concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution.

Administrative Tasks:
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, financial agreements, and consent forms.
- Process payments, manage billing, and assist with insurance claims.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and effective scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office front desk and/or treatment coordinator role.
- Proficiency in Open Dental software is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information in a patient-friendly manner.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle a busy environment with ease.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes.
