Job Description
Duties:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Take x-rays and dental scans
Conduct oral cancer screenings
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care instructions
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Experience:
Minimum of 0 to 3 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50-55 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shifts- one to two days per week to start
Ability to reliably commute to downtown Newark (across the street from the Prudential Arena), NJ 07102 or work at our other site in South Orange NJ (07079)
