Position Overview: We are seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team for approximately 2-3 days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations.
Assessing patients' oral health and identifying signs of periodontal disease or other dental issues.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and recommending personalized home care routines.
Administering fluoride treatments and applying dental sealants as needed.
Assisting dentists with various procedures and tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Indiana.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist.
Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques, including scaling and root planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health habits.
