Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team in a small town atmosphere. Candidate should exhibit good people skills. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and ensure excellent patient care.
Duties- Support dentists during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software- Assist with four-handed dentistry techniques- Knowledge of prosthodontics, endodontics, implants, oral surgery and operative, and dental coding- Implement infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications- Certification in Dental Assisting required- Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures- Familiarity with dental coding practices- Understanding of infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance
