Job Description

McCartney Dental is a privately-owned (non-corporate affiliated) general dental practice in North Port, Florida looking for an additional full/part time hygienist to join our team. (Flexible schedule and hours available). We strive to ensure our patients receive the best service and care possible by treating periodontal needs accordingly and thoroughly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
-Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Assist the dentist during dental examinations
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Dexis
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Knowledge of dental coding for dental procedures
