Job Description

*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients. *Duties* - Prepare patients for dental procedures - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain patient records - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Perform office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and billing *Requirements* - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Experience with dental software systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic - Familiarity with 3D scanners for dental imaging - Ability to handle dental receptionist duties when necessary - Understanding of medical coding for insurance purposes - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.51 - $22.91 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
