Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging software- Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Record patients' vital signs and medical history- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using Dentrix or similar software- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as answering phone calls and greeting patients- Assist with patient assessment and education, including oral hygiene instructions- Specialize in pediatric dentistry, providing care to children of all ages
Experience:- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role- Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology- Proficiency in using dental software, such as Dentrix or Epic- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages
