Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health.
Duties- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Administer local anesthetic- Maintain patient records accurately- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Skills- Proficient in infection control protocols- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques- Familiarity with dental and medical terminology- Understanding of medical coding principles- Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Ability to interpret medical imaging results- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Strong medical documentation skills- Comfort working with pediatric patients
