Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our Dentist & Hygienists in providing excellent patient care while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused established dental practice.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.- Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.- Take vital signs and record patient information- Prepare patients for appointments and procedures, ensuring that they are comfortable and prepared for their treatment.- Provide support with patient education and communication, ensuring that patients understand their treatment plans and post-operative care instructions.- Participate in infection control and aseptic technique, adhering to the highest standards of sterilization and hygiene.- Assist in the preparation and setup of treatment rooms, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.- Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.- Perform other related duties as required by the dentist.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of dental assisting principles and practices.- Experience with four-handed dentistry and the ability to work effectively with the dentist.- Knowledge of dental systems and software, including Softdent.- Experience with infection control and aseptic technique.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:30am-5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
