Job Summary:Kind, caring, skilled dentist in a small fee for service practice searching for a warm, friendly dental assistant. It is our priority to provide the highest quality of dental care while easing patients' fears. Patients and team members alike are treated with compassion and respect.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental work and treatment procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take digital dental X-rays with Schick Sensor- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:- Dental anatomy knowledge- Familiarity with aseptic technique- Understanding of dental terminology- Experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus- Ability to perform X-Ray procedures- Knowledge of infection control protocols- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
