Job Description

Hygienists perform preventive dental treatment procedures, including scaling and polishing patients' teeth, taking x-rays and performing other procedures to detect and diagnose oral diseases. They also provide oral hygiene instruction, including advice on diet, tobacco cessation and fluoride use. Hygienists perform diagnostic procedures such as testing for anemia, using x-rays to locate embedded tooth decay and using microscopes to identify microorganisms responsible for gingivitis.
Responsibilities:

Perform dental work on patients., Use X-ray machine to x-ray patient's teeth., Clean patient's teeth., Provide health information to patient., Apply sealant to patient's teeth.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
