OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
Duties- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform periodontal charting and maintain patient records- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
-Active Role in Monthly Leadership Staff Meetings - As hygienist lead, you would be in a monthly meeting with Manager to discuss overall practice goals and plans
-Onboard New Hygienist - Introduce new hygienist hires to protocol and assist with technique, clinical questions. Check-ins at first 30, 60, 90-day.
-Manage Hygienist Schedules - take charge over the Hygienist schedule regarding coverage, sick days, vacations. Tracking Hygiene Instruments and Ordering - scaler and cavitron tip inventory tracking, removing and purchasing instruments
Qualifications- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Epic software preferred- Knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, HIPAA regulations, and dental terminology- Familiarity with general dentistry, CAD/CAM technology, pediatric dentistry, and medical terminology- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
