```Job Overview```We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with dental procedures, performing medical imaging and X-rays, and providing support in various administrative tasks. Pay depending on experience.
```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area and sterilizing instruments- Take dental X-rays- Perform medical imaging using CAD technology- Provide four-handed chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using Dentrix software- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Communication with team to ensure smooth patient flow
```Qualifications```- Completion of a Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience (3+ years)- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures- Proficiency in medical documentation and terminology- Experience with dental imaging systems, including X-ray machines and CAD technology- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to work well in a team environment
