Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Duties- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentist/hygienist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain patient records and documentation- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Sterilize instruments and equipment- Perform laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models
Qualifications- Knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and procedures- Proficiency in Dentrix or Epic software is a plus- Experience in assisting with pediatric patients is preferred- Familiarity with 3D scanners for dental impressions- Ability to take accurate X-rays and maintain X-ray equipment- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
