Job Description
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments, handing instruments to the dentist, and suctioning saliva and debris from the patient's mouth.- Take and develop dental x-rays.- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Experience:- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.- Proficiency in dental office systems, Dentrix.
- Must have X ray license
Skills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work well in a team environment.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Compensation: $25- $30 based upon experiences. We offer 401k matching and paid time off. The right candidate will have a fixed 32 hours per week. Our office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9a.m to 6p.m. (this position requires working on Saturdays, so you will have Sunday, Monday and Thursday off).
