Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient dental visit experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and documentationg-- Perform various office tasks as needed
Requirements- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control procedures- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and terminology- Experience with medical imaging, including digital radiography- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental clinic environment- Understanding of endodontic procedures and dental clinic operations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
