Job Description
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dental care and assisting in providing top-notch patient experiences.
*Responsibilities*
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and breakdown treatment rooms
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control
prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Maintain accurate patient records
*Experience*
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred - Knowledge of endodontics, aseptic technique, and 3D scanners is a plus - Familiarity with Epic or other dental software is advantageous - Understanding of medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management - Anatomy knowledge related to dental procedures is beneficial - Experience working in a dental clinic setting is desirable Join our team today and contribute to creating healthy smiles for our patients!
