OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional medical imaging services. As an X-ray Technician, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images for medical purposes. Your role will be pivotal in assisting healthcare professionals in accurately diagnosing and treating patients.
Duties- Perform X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols.- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of X-ray images.- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine the appropriate imaging techniques.- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection measures.- Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment.- Provide support in educating patients about the imaging process.
Experience- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation.- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology.- Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus.- Experience working in a dental clinic or with dental receptionists is advantageous.- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques.- Understanding of vital signs monitoring.- Prior exposure to Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Prosthodontics software is beneficial.
