**Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental professionals in providing top-notch patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to prosthodontics, and to contribute to a positive and supportive environment.
**Duties:**
- Assist dentists with patient care and medical documentation.
- Maintain infection control measures and ensure a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage medical records.
- Utilize medical terminology and dental receptionist skills to communicate effectively with patients.
- Perform medical imaging procedures, such as radiographs and digital X-rays, as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including prosthodontic and pediatric procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the dental office, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Knowledge of dental systems and medical terminology.
- Experience with medical imaging and medical records.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and medical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

- Pediatric experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.64 - $20.63 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
