Non-corporate, general dental office in Rocky Hill is looking for a dental assistant to provide excellent customer service and patient care. We reward top communication and organization skills, as well as the ability to be a true team player on a small, cohesive team of professionals in a solo Dentist practice. If you are looking for a dental practice based on patient needs and ethical care, and not corporate profits and bottom lines, then Radiant Smiles may be a fit. Experience with Dentrix and digital x-rays are a plus. Weekdays only. Monday through Thursday, no nights or weekends. MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF CURRENT DENTAL ASSISTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Duties include:

Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
Taking and processing X-rays of patients
Processing lab work for the dentist
Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene and treatment
Updating and maintaining dental records
Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental office
