Job Description

Dental Assistant needed for boutique style dental practice with two dental operatories in Whitestone. Candidate must be timely, detail-oriented and focused on patient care. This is a part-time position for Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Front desk duties on Fridays only.
**Dental experience is preferred but training will be provided for candidates interested in the dental field. Computer knowledge is important because we are a paperless office.
Responsibilities include:

Taking x-ray series using digital sensor
Preparing operatories for various procedures
Sterilizing instruments and disinfecting operatories according to infection control guidelines
Assisting the doctor during dental procedures
Front desk duties on Fridays include : restocking supplies, creating an inventory checklist, cleaning sterilizer, answering calls, scheduling patients, verifying insurance
Office hours are 9 am to 3 pm
