Duties: 1 hour per patient, no side books, and no double/assisted scheduling.
Brand new facility with all new chairs and equipment.
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in dental software system Open Dental- Schedule and manage patient appointments
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques- Proficient in using dental software- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims

We utilize Open Dental as our dental software. If you do not have experience that is ok, we will teach you.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $47.00 - $52.50 per hour
