Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and hygienists in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for treatment, and providing post-operative instructions.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using various medical records systems.- Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, and assist with dental procedures such as general dentistry, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.- Support the front office by answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments.- Utilize electronic dental records (EDRs) such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix to record patient information and track treatment plans.- Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest dental technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.- Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly valued.- Proficiency in electronic dental records (EDRs) such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.- Familiarity with medical records systems.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Certification or registration as a Dental Assistant (CDA/RDA) is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.43 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
