Job Description
Job Overview:We are growing! We are a private family practice that has been serving the community of Burlingame for more than 27 years. We are a team oriented and enthusiastic practice that is respectful, nice and helpful to one another. Offering our patients comprehensive general dentistry we hope to add to our team a proactive and engaging hygienist.
We are currently looking for a Hygienist to work 2-6 full days per month.
Duties:- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other procedures under the supervision of a dentist- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Conduct patient assessments and charting- Maintain accurate patient records- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care- Work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics- Utilize knowledge of general dentistry and anatomy- Familiarity with CAD software and Epic electronic health records system
Skills:- Proficiency in medical terminology- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Team player with a positive attitude- Organizational skills to manage patient schedules effectively
