Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly dental office receptionist to join our dynamic practice. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, collecting patient/insurance payments, and maintaining accurate dental records.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments.- Manage patient scheduling, including booking appointments, handling cancellations or rescheduling, and confirming appointments- Collect and process patient payments, including copays and deductibles.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient dental records.- Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries.- Review dental records and verify patient information.- Handle dental billing and collection tasks.- Utilize phone systems and Open Dental electronic dental record to efficiently manage patient appointments and records.- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure seamless patient care.- Provide exceptional patient service and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical receptionist role.- Strong knowledge of dental billing and collection procedures.- Familiarity with dental software and phone systems.- Excellent patient service skills.- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency in documentation review and medical records management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
