Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
Duties- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care- Perform dental charting and maintain patient records- Administer local anesthetics under the direction of a dentist- Conduct oral cancer screenings and take dental x-rays- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment- Utilize medical coding systems for accurate billing
Experience- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping- Strong knowledge of anatomy, particularly oral anatomy- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus- Competence in patient assessment and treatment planning- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology and Epic software is advantageous- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
